Well I would rate this place a 3.8 due to minor issues I had last night. 1. I was told that I had to pay for a deposit 1/2 cost of the room (mind you this was for half the payment for the room itself , and I was told I dont get it back because "ITS FOR HALF THE ROOMS COST" and I would pay the rest when I got to the room.. total was around 170 ish to 180 (by the owner) come to find out when I check in last night that "Deposit" was just to pay to hold the room I had to do another payment of 159. For my room and the night audit told me" No! Its not how it works you pay us to hold the room but you dont get the deposit back" so in total I payed over 250 for it... which i was very upset about but I just paid for it because I was already there and tired from driving ...... 2. Restroom toilet was not clean properly and I had to clean it myself thank God I got disinfectant wipes etc. 3. I told them I had a dog with me and ahead of time. When I got there I asked for the dog basket.. and pillows which I thought was already in the room.. but when I ask the audit he looked puzzled and asked me what I was talking about?.. 4. Heat in my room did not work so I called about it and the night audit came and checked if I had the windows open ? he said the housekeeper might left the windows open... But in all... I was brought a dog basket full with all treats, wipes, towels, bowls for my dog.. And 1 extra blanket for the cold room. Dont get me wrong its a beautiful place nice rooms and comfortable bed but this was my experience. As of March 7th to March 8th 2026...

I had an incredible stay at Club Hotel in Idaho Springs! The entire experience was top-notch—from the beautifully designed rooms to the peaceful atmosphere that made for a perfect getaway. The location is ideal, with easy access to the town’s hot springs, restaurants, and scenic spots. What truly made the experience stand out was the exceptional service, especially from Beth. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made all the difference. It’s rare to find someone so committed to making your stay memorable, and Beth absolutely delivered. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Club Hotel to anyone visiting the area. Ask for Beth—you’ll be glad you did!

This is a really beautiful, historic hotel. Rooms were clean, updated, and really spacious. Right near everything. My only “issue” was the front desk staff. The woman we encountered was nice, but when we arrived and we needed help throughout our stay, no one was physically at the desk so you needed to ring the bell, and no one came a few times we did. There is a man who ran the desk as well, alongside her, and he was just the epitome of unprofessional. He wore loose basketball shorts with an unbuttoned shirt and just looks like he was unwell and possibly just rolled out of bed. We believe he may had been sick, or strung out on something because even in front of us he plopped down in the back office and started breathing heavily, sighing randomly while stretching and making himself comfy to close his eyes in the back office, and looked spaced out. When I called the hotel and spoke to him he answered with a loud cough and couldn’t answer our questions about our bags clearly. We waited for 30 min for him to come to the desk, and when he did, he ignored us on a call. He didn’t even so much as look up and ask how he could help us as we waited for a long time. This happened multiple times. He did accommodate us w our luggage, but it wasn’t without all the extras mentioned… if they had a more professional, put together staff, it would help elevate the hotel a bit more - Especially because this is who you’d speak to when calling to inquire about a stay, and the first people seen upon entry (if they’re at the desk). Other than the staff, it was a pleasant stay, and no complaints with the room. Was a nice little, cozy spot.

This was once a lovely Victorian hotel, the gem of Idaho Springs. Somewhere along the way, the owner decided to cover the exterior wood work with ugly gray vinyl siding. The interior is well laid out, very clean, comfortable rooms and furniture. But this loses a star for a couple reasons, the AC in our room was very loud, waking me up several times. And the sink in our bathroom did not drain, I propped it open with a razor handle, and in the morning the front desk did not acknowledge or seem to care

This review is long over-do My husband and I spent our 7 year wedding anniversary here and everything was top notch. We were able to check in early and the staff was so nice and helpful. We brought our dog with us and they provided us with a special dog basket, as well as a very, very nice anniversary basket. The location is literally steps away from downtown, and they also validate parking at the lot across the street. The only thing I wish they would do differently, is offer some sort of breakfast. They do supply water & coffee in the hallway & with the downtown area being steps away, it’s ok. It’s a very old hotel, so whether it’s haunted or not, leave that up to you to decide We will definitely be back for our next weekend getaway in Idaho Springs.

The entire staff is unbelievably GREAT! Did I mention Hannah, she is a gem. Along with Willow and Ray. Hannah went out her way to get a room during some very busy times. The rooms felt super clean and appropriately decorated with just enough modern touches. So far we stayed ever time we have come town. We will look forward to these stays. Oh, and we are 1 block from main street. Perfect!
